The Tallest Man on Earth tour with Bon Iver introduced Kristian Matsson to large audiences across the US in late 2008. In April, he released the critically-acclaimed album, The Wild Hunt, on Dead Oceans and followed it with a seven week, sold-out North American tour. These performances were breathtaking, where Matsson, armed with just a guitar, would cast his spell over reverent audiences every single night. His songs come alive from the stage, and this fall Matsson is returning to the road, visiting the biggest venues he’s played since that tour with Bon Iver.
This fall, sister-label Jagjaguwar will release Bon Iver percussionist S. Carey’s debut solo album, All We Grow. Sean Carey will reunite with Kristian and open each show with a band that includes three percussionists to re-create his album’s depth and texture.
